ViraLou Aftercare is an RN and CSA owned concierge recovery service providing licensed, one-on-one post-surgical nursing care in the comfort of your own home, throughout Southern California.
Do you replace my surgeon or medical provider? +
No. We follow your surgeon’s discharge instructions exactly and coordinate with their office throughout your recovery.
Do you give medications or prescriptions? +
We do not prescribe. Our nurses provide medication reminders per your surgeon’s plan, and prescription pickup is available as a supplemental service.
Do you make medical decisions? +
No. Your care always follows your surgeon’s post-operative plan, and any concerns are communicated to your surgeon’s office right away.
What types of procedures do you support? +
We care for patients recovering from cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures, with every plan shaped around the procedure and the surgeon’s instructions.
Where is care provided? +
In the comfort of your own home or accommodation, throughout Southern California.
Do you provide overnight care? +
Yes. Our packages range from 4 to 24 hours, including a 12-hour overnight option, available 24/7 / 365.
Do you provide transportation from the surgical center? +
Yes. Safe transport home with wheelchair assistance is included in every package.
What if I don’t have someone to take me home after surgery? +
That is exactly what we are here for. We pick you up, bring you home safely, and stay by your side while you recover.

Is a deposit required? +
Booking details and payment are confirmed when you schedule. Reach out and we will walk you through it.
What is your cancellation policy? +
Surgery plans can change. Contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you to reschedule your care.
Do you accept insurance? +
Our concierge recovery packages are booked privately and are not billed through health insurance.
How do you handle medical emergencies? +
Our nurses monitor you closely for complications. In an emergency we call 911 immediately and notify your surgeon and your family.
Is my information kept private? +
Yes. We are HIPAA conscious and privacy focused, and your information is always kept confidential.
Do you work directly with surgeons? +
Yes. We coordinate directly with your surgeon’s office and follow their discharge requirements from pickup through recovery.
